Tenth anniversary trip to Seattle
Decided to go to Seattle for a long weekend for our tenth anniversary, so fun! Went to the Aquarium, the science museum and just had fun walking, hopping on the tram and checking things out!
Pike Street Narket, love all the fresh flowers and produce, a feast for the eyes!
Seafood dumped on our table along with corn-on-the-cob, sausage...someone was started out being crabby, but ended up having fun!

Moving and Josiah starting school
Life has been busy here at the Nelson Nook...between moving and having five-month-old Elias and now hopefully building in the near future...Josiah has started officially homeschooling with once a week Classical Conversations Community Day on Wednesday mornings. He is learning so much about history, skip counting, art, music, geography...so much I am wondering if I ever learned it or have I just forgotten that much? He is learning the seven wonders of the ancient world as well as math, telling time, calendar reading and so much more. It has been fun and challenging both! Elias is now holding his head up much better and is now 14.5 pounds and 65 1/2 centimeters (anyone remember the conversion to inches?)
We have plans to go to the pumpkin patch soon, but have had a fun-filled summer with going to Glacier National Park this Sunday. Kent worked on clearing some brush at the property on Saturday in hopes to begin building some time this month if all goes according to our plan...
So, here are some of the pictures from the last several months...with two little ones around it is hard to find much time to keep up on this blog with everything else going on; but better late than never they say (whoever "they" is; :)
